The next time I make this I’m planning to leave out the brown sugar. It was a little too sweet!

    Maple-Pecan Granola
    (yield 4 cups)

2 cups regular oats (not instant)
    1/2 cup pecan pieces
    1/2 cup maple syrup
    1/4 cup packed brown sugar
    2 Tbs canola oil
    1/8 tsp salt

Preheat oven to 300 degrees. Prepare a large cookie sheet by spraying with Pam. Combine all ingredients in a bowl, then spread on cookie sheet. Bake for 1 hour, stirring every 15-20 minutes.
